Memphis Championship Barbecue
Jen and I are headed to Memphis BBQ tonight for their Tax Day Special. All April long they have a Special Menu featuring our favorite Blue Ribbon Two Meat Special for only $10.99 including ribs. We love Memphis BBQ and are happy to spend some hard earned money there tonight.
Here is its founder Mike Mills talking about his recipes and his original restaurant the 17th Street Grill in Murphysboro, Illinois.

Angels Pitcher Dies in Hit-and-Run Accident
On a much heavier note, Angels Rookie Pitcher Nick Adenhart died in a hit-and-run accident in the early morning hours of Thursday April 9th. He was one of the top prospects of the Angels organization. Here is a video of Torii Hunter and his reaction on this sudden loss.
Nick was only 22 years old.

Kal Penn (Kumar) 'moves into White House'
Actor Kal Penn best known for his work as Kumar from the stoner movies Harold & Kumar is the newest employee under our new President Barack Obama. He'll be working in the Office of Public Liason, a new department created by President Obama to lessen the gap between the public and the workings of the government. Here is Montel Williams talking to Kal Penn about his new position.

Amphibious Cars
Back in Season 8 of Top Gear the crew were challenged to make Amphibious Cars. Each had to select their own vehicle and in two days turn it into a working car and personal watercraft. Watch their now legendary attempt at this ridiculous task.

Metallica's Induction Speech
Sorry for the poor sound quality on Flea's Induction Speech. It was the only version of it I could find. Metallica's acceptance and performance has much better audio.

Wanna Win $1 Million?
Buffalo Says Goodbye to the Aud
The Buffalo Sabres old home, the Memorial Auditorium, is being demolished to make way for bigger and better things in downtown Buffalo. One of the most notorious games in NHL history occured in the Aud. The "Fog Game" as it is known was a result of an unusually humid May day in Buffalo during the 1975 Stanley Cup Finals versus the Philadelphia Flyers. Here is a video from Sabres TV talking about Aud memories and a short clip showing footage from the "Fog Game".
